Fenix Youth Project Inc.
Ambassador
=======================================================
Fenix Youth Project Inc. is experiencing significant growth due to growing community demands and a new facility/location. We are expanding programs, and growing our staff, board and volunteers. Our goals include establishing ourselves in our marketplace with consistent and focused messaging, increasing our division of labor and accountability, expanding our board including key volunteer roles, and establishing relationships with funders and donors. In order to accomplish these goals, we need key volunteers to serve as organizational Ambassadors.

People who agree to serve as Ambassadors would do the following:

  1. Donate/pledge to Fenix Youth Project Inc.

  2. Provide linkage with corporations and foundations or community organizations

  3. Be a positive spokesperson for Fenix Youth Project Inc., learn key messages and elevator speech

  4. Open doors to prospects via phone calls, introductions and scheduling meetings

  5. Solicit major gifts; assist with special events, donor recognition, thank you notes, etc.

Volunteers are a key link between Fenix Youth Project and the prospective donor/leader community. Your support as an ambassador helps us maximize our reach and increase awareness. By being an ambassador, you may open new doors for FYP to attract program participants, raise funds and recruit volunteers.

As an Ambassador Volunteer, you will agree to do the following:

  • Lend Name. Ambassadors will agree to allow the organization to use their name in public relations materials and in solicitation of key prospects throughout the area.

  • Spokesperson. Speak positively about the organization and the campaign, and be prepared to answer basic questions. Rely on staff and key personnel for detailed information.

  • Open Doors. Review the prospect list and indicate those with whom they can arrange a meeting. Also suggest new prospects to add to our list.

  • Gift. Make a gift up to your financial ability. We seek 100% participation by Ambassadors.

  • Confidentiality. Maintain confidentiality at all times as donor/prospect information is shared with committee members.
