Drop-in hours for unhoused youth are Tuesday - Saturday 10:00 am - 2:00 PM

*Youth under the age of 14, must be accompanied by an older sibling at least 14 years or older.

The center is open to all youth (ages 14-24 only) 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm

*Unhoused Youth are able to stay until 10:00 PM

  • A Fenix Youth Project Inc. we provide housing Search Support, Career & Education Support, Life Coaching and Planning to Homeless Youth between the ages of 14-24 and those exiting the foster care system.

    We also provide support to youth involved in the Juvenile Justice System. We accompany youth to court dates, and provide support and advocacy wherever requested for youth to ensure they have a positive experience during whatever complicated journey they currently;t face.

    Beginning April 26, 2024, young people, as young as 12 will be able to book free Mental Health Counseling Sessions in partnership with The Wellness Center of Maryland. This service is NOT AVAILABLE TO ANYONE OVER THE AGE OF 24.

  • You must be between the ages of 14- 24 to receive services from Fenix Youth Project Inc.

  • Drop-in hours are special hours outside our normal center for those experiencing homelessness who need a safe space to receive navigation resources, hygiene items, breakfast to-go, access to lockers, and mail services.

Need a phone?

If you are a current Fenix Youth Project member between the ages of 18-24 currently experiencing homelessness or housing instability and have a genuine commitment to actively seek employment and attend mandatory workshops and classes, ask about out NEW FREE MOBILE PHONE PROGRAM.

  • You are still eligible for the program. The phone also serves as a means for us to stay in contact with you in case you are not connected to Wi-Fi.

  • Once you have no use for it. Meaning, that you have been employed and able to get your own phone and service line and have a means to pay that bill. Unless you are found to be non-compliant with the program

  • Become a Fenix Member (Enroll in our Homeles Youth Services Program) and agree to follow iThrive policies. Attending Thrivig Transitions Workshops and completing a Life Skills Assessment. It is required that members with a iThrive Phone must meet regulary to get Career & Educations Support.

Proof of Age, Identity, and Lawful Presence is required:

• Original or certified copy of a U.S. birth certificate filed with a State Office of Vital Statistics (OVS) or equivalent agency in the applicant’s state of birth

• Valid, unexpired U.S. passport

• Consular Report of Birth Abroad

• Valid, unexpired permanent resident card, form I-551, issued by DHS

• Certificate of naturalization or citizenship, issued by DHS

• Unexpired foreign passport with current valid USCIS documentation
