If you’re a young person under 24 looking for help with housing, food, employment, or other resources, we’re here to support you. Getting connected is easy: simply complete our online form, and someone from our team will reach out to set up an appointment with an Unhoused Youth Advocate or trained volunteer who can help. You can also skip the form and book directly with an advocate or volunteer to get assistance.

  • A Fenix Youth Project Inc. we provide housing Search Support, Career & Education Support, Life Coaching and Planning to Homeless Youth between the ages of 14-24 and those exiting the foster care system.

    We also provide support to youth involved in the Juvenile Justice System. We accompany youth to court dates, and provide support and advocacy wherever requested for youth to ensure they have a positive experience during whatever complicated journey they currently face. We are not legal help and can not provide legal advice.

  • You must be between the ages of 14- 24 to receive services from Fenix Youth Project Inc.

Shelter Bed Availability List

The shelter bed availability for today, 1/3/2025 is below and most recent.  Please note these numbers were accurate as of 8:45 am. 

HALO in Salisbury: HALO will take a walk ups for Extreme Cold Weather Shelter each night from 6p - 7:30a. until the cold snap is over, they will be open Monday from 830 - 5 in R&R Breakfast lunch and dinner are available each day. The cafe will open at 5:00 instead of 6.

Halo is unable to take in anyone on the National Sex Offender /Predator List.

Ocean City Cold Weather Shelter (also looking for volunteers): The shelter will be OPEN EVERY NIGHT until further notice. All new guests will need to call to pre-register for the season. They must call 443-880-5060 to do so. They may call this number any day, any time, to pre-register. If their call goes to voicemail, they must leave a message with their FULL legal name, date of birth, and a callback number (if they have one). This will allow us to perform our necessary pre-check. Guests only need to do this once for the 2024/2025 season. Once they are approved for the season, they can simply show up each night that we are open. Check-in time to arrive at the shelter on the nights that we are open is between 5-7 PM. After 7 PM, guests must contact the OCPD for a police escort to the shelter.
