Stay consistent. Show progress. Bring your report card.
You could be outside with us on a King's Dominion Trip in August.

Don’t wait till it’s too late. Pull up May 4. We’ll meet you there.
About the Vision
The Homeland Scholars Program was created because too many young people are expected to figure it out on their own.
EH Homeland and Fenix Youth Project Inc. are stepping in to change that.
Every weekday from 4 PM to 6 PM, our doors open to middle and high school students who need more than just a place to go—they need to feel seen, supported, and believed in. Through free tutoring, academic guidance, and nourishing snacks, we’re not just filling gaps—we’re removing barriers and replacing them with confidence, consistency, and community.
This is more than an after-school program. It’s a space where trust is built. Where skills are strengthened. Where young people begin to see their potential clearly—and start believing in it.
Your support doesn’t just sustain a program. Become a monthly donor and invest in futures, which restores confidence and ensures that no student has to navigate their journey alone. (Be sure to designate it “Homeland Scholars Program.”
Together, we’re not just showing up for the next generation—
We’re standing beside them.
What sets our program apart
01 /It’s Relationship-First, Not Just Academic Support
This isn’t just about homework help—it’s about human connection. Students aren’t treated like problems to fix, but people to invest in. They build real relationships with mentors who show up consistently, creating trust that most traditional programs miss.
02 / We Removes Barriers in Real Time
We’re not expecting students to come “ready”—you’re meeting them where they are. Free access, consistent hours, and even snacks matter. We’re addressing the small but real barriers (hunger, lack of support, unstable environments) that quietly push students behind.
03 / It Creates a Safe, Affirming Space—Every Day
This isn’t occasional programming—it’s daily presence. A predictable, welcoming space where students know they belong. That consistency builds confidence, routine, and emotional safety—things that are just as critical as academics.
